DEPRESSION SOLUTIONS ! !

☺ Sushant Singh Rajput died . 
☺34 year old successful actor of bollywood industry. 
☺worked in many pictures like kaipoche, MS Dhoni , chichhorre, kedarnath etc. 
☺He recently donated 1.25 crore rupees in CM relief fund for kerela funds . 
☺He was first in bollywood to buy land on mars. 
☺He was a dce dropout and was a brilliant student. 
☺He dropped out of college and went to mumbai . He joined barry john's acting classes. 
☺He became a successful actor .

BUT HE'S NO MORE WITH US ! 


So instead of contemplating about anything unnecessary and playing blame games ! lets discuss about his problem 'DEPRESSION' actually not his problem only but in India specifically the percentage of people suffering from depression in at its peak . 
According to WHO statistics India alone has 57 million people suffering from depression i.e. about 18 percent of total population . Here , Sucide rate is more than 21.1 per 100,000 population. 
Goverment of india even do not recognise it as an illeness as everytime less than 0.05 percent of Indias healthcare budget is allocated to treatment of mental health illness. 

DEPRESSION IS A GUILT ! IN A MORE AGGRAVATED FORM ! 
IT IS AN ILLNESS NOT A MORAL WEAKNESS OR MENTAL FRAILTY!

So instead of gossiping about which celebrity has passed what statement to get some more likes we have discussed how to deal with people suffering from the depression. 

ARE YOU DEPRESSED ? IS ANYONE NEAR YOU IS DEPRESSED ?

Most common solution to this is that you should talk to someone who's near to your heart ! 
If you are not getting any solutions one should take a medical help as soon as possible ! 

LET'S DISCUSS IT IN MORE DETAIL

Whilst you are talking to a depressed person don't use phrases like :- 
Don't think about it ! , Think Positive ! , I know how you feel ! , Count your blessings ! 
These things can actually worsen the situation. As most of these situations gaud a person to move at a path of RUMINATION. Rumination is a situation in  which a person faces same problems perpetually and he's not able to solve it ! That ultimately creates helplessness and worthlessness !
Don't tell a person to thing positive as it will tend him to think that because of his fault he's not able to correct things because he can't think positive . It's his fault. 

USE COGNITIVE REFRAMING !
In this you help the depressed person to replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts and obviously it takes time ! 

Feeling of sadness is normal, but depression is a mood disorder that negatively impacts a person's ability to attend to normal daily activities. 
When a depressed person reaches you - She is looking for empathy and compassion not comparision. So giving esamples of other people medical condition will make him more depressed. 

LISTEN WITHOUT JUDGEMENT !
